Terms & conditions.
These terms keep the table fair for everyone. They're written in plain English; the full text governs.
Effective: 13 September 2026 · Version 2.1
1. Who we are
The Tribecca service ("Tribecca," "we") is operated by Entrefolio, LLC, a California limited liability company. By creating an account, submitting an application, ordering a wristband, or attending any Tribecca event, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Community Guidelines, and our Safety Guidelines.
2. What Tribecca is — and is not
Tribecca provides screening, matching, and planning services: we review applications, match members into small groups, arrange reservations, and share talking points and event details. The service consists of planning and coordinating gatherings — not executing, hosting, or supervising them. Dinners, mixers, and afterparties take place at independent venues; conversations are member-led; no Tribecca representative is present at or supervises events unless expressly stated for a specific event. Tribecca is not a party to any interaction, transaction, or relationship between members, or between members and venues.
3. Eligibility and screening
You must be 18 or older and own or operate a business of your own. Our screening is an application review for community fit — the fit and intent of people building businesses of their own. Screening is not a background check. We do not conduct criminal, financial, or identity background checks, and we make no representation or warranty about any member's identity, background, conduct, or business claims. You are responsible for exercising your own judgment in all interactions with other members, at and outside events. We may approve, decline, or revoke membership at our discretion, consistent with our Community Guidelines.
4. Membership and the wristband
The price of your wristband, any membership plan, shipping, and any free trial is shown before you pay. The first 50 members get their wristband free. Nothing you pay Tribecca buys, and Tribecca does not provide, any food, beverage, or venue service. A membership plan renews automatically at the price shown until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your membership page; your membership then ends when the period you've paid for ends, and you won't be charged again. Event booking unlocks when your wristband is ordered; your first bookable event may be subject to a shipping-lead window so your band arrives in time.
Your account activates as soon as your wristband order is confirmed — RSVPs and full dinner details unlock then, with no further steps. Shipping and delivery do not gate access; an individual event may still be too soon to book if it falls inside the shipping-lead window described above.
5. Dinners and events
Dinners are held on Wednesday evenings, and each dinner's start time is shown on the platform. Tables typically seat five to nine members, with six as the target; we do not guarantee attendee count, table composition, or any particular member's attendance. Venues, dates, and times may change, including on short notice. Venue addresses are revealed on a schedule (neighborhood first; the address the afternoon before) as described on the platform. Attend alone: guests are not permitted unless invited through the platform for that event. Afterparties and any gatherings members organize beyond the scheduled dinner are optional, member-initiated, and outside the scope of the service.
RSVPs close 36 hours before each dinner starts. An RSVP is a commitment to your table; cancel before the cutoff if you can't attend. Repeated no-shows are tracked and can limit your ability to book.
6. Venues, food, and beverages
Venues are independent businesses. Tribecca does not prepare, cook, serve, or sell food or beverages. The venue is solely responsible for food preparation, quality, safety, service, and the condition of its premises. We use reasonable care in selecting venues, but we do not guarantee any venue's offerings, service, pricing, or availability. Dietary preferences you provide are treated as guidelines for venue selection, not binding restrictions; we cannot guarantee the absence of allergens — confirm directly with the venue. You pay the venue directly for everything you order; how a table divides its bill is up to the table.
7. Alcohol
Tribecca does not sell, serve, or furnish alcohol at any event. Where alcohol is available, it is sold and served solely by the licensed venue, which is responsible for lawful service. You are responsible for complying with applicable law, drinking responsibly if you choose to drink, and arranging safe transportation to and from events.
8. Assumption of risk and release
Attending in-person gatherings with people you have not met carries inherent risks. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you attend Tribecca events at your own risk, and you release Entrefolio, LLC, Tribecca, and their owners, employees, and agents from claims arising out of or relating to: your attendance at or travel to and from events; the acts or omissions of other members or attendees; the condition of venue premises; food or beverages provided by venues; and member-organized activities such as afterparties. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Member conduct
Two rules: every member owns and runs a business of their own, and pitching — recruiting, prospecting, or selling to fellow members — is prohibited at dinners and throughout the community. Every member also agrees to our Community Guidelines, and members can flag violations; flags carry real consequences up to and including removal without refund. Harassment, discrimination, threats, or unsafe behavior of any kind result in immediate removal. We may suspend or terminate membership for violations of these Terms or the Community Guidelines; fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and any warranty regarding the outcome of any dinner, match, connection, or relationship.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: our liability is limited to direct damages, and our total aggregate liability for all claims shall not exceed the total amounts you paid to Tribecca in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or goodwill. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; where prohibited, these limits apply to the fullest extent permitted.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Entrefolio, LLC and Tribecca from claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your violation of these Terms, your conduct at or in connection with events, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy governs personal information, including what other members can see of your profile. Venue addresses reveal on schedule. We do not sell member data.
14. Changes; termination; miscellany
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted with a new effective date, and continued use constitutes acceptance. You may close your account at any time. These Terms are governed by California law; disputes shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in California. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Community Guidelines, and the Safety Guidelines are the entire agreement between you and Tribecca regarding the service.
